I always stem cook veggies in Microwave it saves time and gas add chopped veggies to a micro-safe bowl with 3 tbsp of water and place it to cook for 3 minutes once done check if the veggies are done if not cook it further for a minute or until done it should not take more than 4 minutes to cook once the veggies are steam cooked it can be cooled and stored in the fridge in a airtight container for use... the best part cooking veggies in a microwave it retains colour and texture its not over cooked and veggies dont fall apart.
