I was one among few bloggers to be chosen by Britannia for their launch of New Chocolate Bourbon. Right from my childhood days till now we have truly enjoyed all products from Britannia. The Bourbon biscuit (sometimes referred to as a Bourbon cream) is a sandwich style biscuit consisting of two thin oblong dark chocolate-flavored biscuits with a chocolate butter cream filling.

The biscuit was introduced in 1910 (originally under the name "Creola") by the biscuit company Peek Freans, of Bermondsey, London, originator of the Garibaldi biscuit. The Original Bourbon Biscuit in India was Launched By Britannia in 1955. The Bourbon biscuit is second most popular biscuit in India to dunk into tea.

The Service and contribution to our country By Britannia is humongous. Britannaia as Brand was started  in 1892 to be precise, a biscuit company was started in a nondescript house in Calcutta (now Kolkata). The company we all know as Britannia today.

By 1910, with the advent of electricity, Britannia mechanized its operations, and in 1921, it became the first company east of the Suez Canal to use imported gas ovens. Britannia's business was flourishing. But, more importantly, Britannia was acquiring a reputation for quality and value. As a result, during the tragic World War II, the Government reposed its trust in Britannia by contracting it to supply large quantities of "service biscuits" to the armed forces. Britannia's fairy tale is not only going strong but blazing new standards

Ingredients in Bourbon are: Refined Wheat Flour, Edible Vegetable Oil, Starch, Coco solids, Milk solids, Raising agents, Emulsifiers and Salt.

New and Chocolatier Bourbon a sandwich cookie. the crisp cookie has a wonderful chocolate cream center the cookie its self has crystal sugar on top for extra crunch. A 60 gram pack of Bourbon costs 10/- so yummy and affordable.
