Box 8 is an app and web-based food delivery service who operate in 3 cities...Mumbai, Pune and Bengaluru. There is something for everyone in Box 8 from sandwiches to all-in-one-meals 😉
Overall concept of delivering home style fresh meals on a budget is something many expats and IT professionals are looking forward too, just because people who are here(in Bengaluru) for work do not prefer traveling but yet want to enjoy delicious meals served to them on call. People who want to organize large parties or events can contact Box 8 they handle bulk party orders 😏
About Box8: Started by two IIT graduates Amit Raj and Anshul Gupta, Box8 currently claims to serve 12,000 meals every day to its consumer base through a network of 60 stores across three cities Mumbai, Pune and Bengaluru. The company initially started out as Poncho in 2011 serving only Mexican dishes in the quick service format (QSR), but then expanded its menu and re-branded (to Box8) in 2014.
How was the food? All the dishes were moderately warm. they provide microwaveable bowls for reheating if needed.
The salads and sandwiches were filling packed with fresh veggies and chicken😋 However they could've provided some tissues and plastic utensils, along with a 200 ml water bottle, these add on's are nice touches and this is something many food delivery services are over looking. We were really impressed with the packaging, pricing and service.
