Ending a clam and relaxed Sunday on a sweet note me raksha, vamshi and jeet my #blog world friends were out for a mothers day event and we badly wanted a break from norm so we sat in vamshi's car and headed to our unknown destination at first we wanted to settle in for coffee then we argued about it and drove and drove finally ended up at HajiAli food shrine @ MM Road...
We picked the right choice and coming to a place where we could attain peace over a few gulps of sweet faloodas...we needed me time pointless conversations jokes planning on future... which is not going to happen soon and loads of laughter made our day special for once we forgot about all the burdens of life and returned to childhood days...
HajiAli is popular among college kids in Mumbai they are know for best grilled sandwiches pastas smoothies faloodas and fruit juices on a budget when i used to stay at mumbai for work HajiAli was always on my mind for snacking i used to see both young and old visit them in large numbers...
I was surprised to see HajiAli at our own city was quite exciting to revisit and recuperate old memories the place is well lite quite centralized to colleges schools and offices in and around neatly maintained parking is available right outside and importantly staff is friendly...
We sat down and relaxed a bit as they handed the menu cards i was quite surprised to see few new dished added to their extensive menu...i had no space in my tummy for all of that neither were my friends so we settled down for faloodas...
We ordered Mango, Butterscotch, Kesar and Dry Fruit Faloodas... ranging between 130 to 160 Rupees..
The creamy and wonderful faloodas were yummy a bit to sweet for my pallet but we enjoyed every bit..totally worth it they are opened 11am till 11pm
and in no time its all gone...
HajiAli is a place to enjoy with family and friends there is a private seating area if you want to organize a birthday party or anniversary the right place to be in with loved ones i will totally recommend this place for your next event and i will be visiting HajiAli for sure...

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!!!
Ingredients:
3 Ferrero Rochers
2 Tbsp Coco Powder
1/2 Tsp Instant Coffee Powder
2 Scoops of Ice cream + for garnish
1 Tbsp Sugar
3 Cups Milk
Prep Up:
Place the milk in a bowl and freeze until it forms crystals.
Method:
In a juicer mixer jar add the ferrero rocher coco powder sugar coffer powder and grind until powder format.
Add milk and ice cream whip until all ingredients are well combined pour into tall tumblers garnish with scoops of ice cream and ferrero rocher serve right away....Enjoy...:)
When mom and i were experimenting on few mocktails we stumbled on this yummy recipe its a original recipe one of my best experiments i offered this drink to my neighbors kid just to ask his opinion on this recipe and was also searching a name for this concoction i just asked him what will you name my drink pat came the answer lovely singh lol my 8yr old neighbor came out with a lovely name for sure...
Ingredients:
1 Glass Water melon Juice
1 Glass Sugar Cane Juice
1/2 Tsp Lime Juice
1 Bottle Sprite or Club Soda I would prefer using any lime based soda
Ice Cubes as required

Prep Up:
To prepare watermelon juice peel the watermelon remove seeds and add to a juicer do not add water prepare juice and reserve.
Method:
In a large mixing bowl mix watermelon and sugar can juice add lime juice as per your taste mix well and reserve.
In a tumbler add ice cubes and pour the juice half way thru fill the other half with sprite and serve right away...Enjoy...:)
I crave for mojitos every day since summers have been scorching hot in Bangalore these days and just drinking lime water or alcohol based drinks are getting a bit rhythmic wanted to try something a bit different healthy and tasty i came up with this summer cooler recipe which is totally refreshing best thirst quencher

Ingredients:
2 Tender Coconuts
Fist full Mint
1 Tbsp Lime Juice
1 Tbsp Ginger Juice
1 Liter Bottle any Lime based Soda
Prep Up:
To extract ginger juice peel the ginger chop into tiny pieces add to a mixerjar add some luke warm water to the ginger and grind till smooth paste using a strainer pass the ginger pulp to the strainer and extract fresh ginger juice this juice can be store in a air tight container in the refrigerator up to 2 weeks.
Method:
In a mixing Jar/Bowl add tender coconut water, lime juice and ginger juice mix and combine all these ingredients till well combined.
In a tall tumbler add some mint leaves and ice cubes fill the tumbler half way full with the coconut mixture add the lime soda garnish with lime rings and serve right away...enjoy...:)

Finally the cookout started around 1.pm peppy beats in the back ground Khevan Tanna cheered our spirits with his concoction of cocktails and mocktails...
Whiskey Sour:
Whiskey, fresh lime, Orange juice and club soda with a dash of sugar syrup
Pompeii
Rhum, chili powder, mango orange, cranberry and lime juice
Mocktail is called shiva:
Cranberry, Orange Juice, Crème Fresh, Chili powder and a dash of Blue curacao!
After all the fun drinks and tour around the space we finally entered the professional kitchen i choose to prepare Bunny Chow with a carrot salad and french fries the recipe was Durban inspiration we were allocated only 2 working burners on the stove we had to make good use of them in allocated time i started of with my bunny chow recipe

If your at Bak Bak Bar make sure to take up the challenge and taste some BHOOT JOLOKIA CHICKEN I thought this is easypeasy stuff i can handle the heat and eat all the chicken served with just one bit i was unable to breathe but did not want a chilly to rule me took this challenge seriously and ate 3 chicken legs and broke the record in my group no jokes this is some serious spicy stuff after all the spicy munching it took us 1/2 hour for us to settle down a bit and start our lunch...
