Orange Milkshake Recipe

Orange is my favorite fruit anytime of the year. I enjoyed creating and tasting this creamy and delicious milkshake.

Orange Lassi Ingredients:
2 Oranges 
1/2 Cup Chilled Milk
3 to 4 Tbsp Sugar
Prep:
Peel the oranges and remove the membrane or the transparent skin on the orange segments, remove the seeds and reserve in a bowl.

Use boiled and chilled milk for this recipe.


Method:
Reserve some orange segments for garnish, add the rest to a mixerjar along with sugar and grind to form a smooth paste.

Next add milk cover and grind until smooth milkshake has formed. Pour the milkshake in a tall serving tumbler, top with orange segments, garnish with cherries and serve chilled...Enjoy!

Chikoo Milkshake / Sapota Milkshake

Chikoo or Sapota is a seasonal fruit which is harvested from August till March. Sapota is a very sweet and grainy texture fruit. It is always better to peel the skin and then consume the fruit. This filling and healthy sapota milk shake can be served during breakfast time.

Ingredients:
1/2 Cup Ripe Chikoo / Sapota
1 1/2 Cups Chilled Milk
3 Tbsp Sugar
Prep:
Boil 1 1/2 cups milk and refrigerate until chilled
Wash and peel the sapota. Chop into half remove the seeds and reserve. 

Method:
In a mixerjar add the chopped sapota and sugar. Cover and grind to form a smooth puree.
Add chilled milk and grind to form a smooth milk shake. Serve the milkshake in a tall tumbler...Enjoy!

Almond, Banana and Avocado Milkshake Recipe

Avocado, almonds and banana, this combination creates one of  the creamiest and delicious milkshake ever. It is a complete meal, very filling and keeps us energetic for hours.

Ingredients:
1 Whole Avocado
1 Ripe Banana
10 Almonds
1 Cup Milk
3 Tbsp Sugar
Garnish: Almonds, Walnuts, Raisins

Prep:
Boil the milk, bring the milk to room temperature. Place the milk in the fridge and allow to chill completely.

Chop the almonds, walnuts into tiny pieces for grinding and garnish.

Wash and Chop the avocado in half, scoop the avocado using a spoon then chop into chunks.

Peel and Chop the banana in to coins.

Method:
In a mixer jar add 10 chopped almonds, sugar, avocado and banana, grind to form a smooth puree.

Add milk and grind to form a smooth milkshake. 

In a tall tumbler pour the milkshake and garnish with chopped almonds, walnuts and raisins. Serve right away...Enjoy!

Grapes Milkshake Recipe

When grapes in season prepare this milkshake, we literally need three ingredients for this milkshake. Every year from december till march we get the best grapes in market. I like to use seedless and sweet grapes in my recipes.

Ingredients:
1 Cup Seedless Grapes
3 Tbsp Sugar
2 Cups Chilled Milk
Prep:
Boil the milk. Bring the milk to room temperature and place it in the fridge until chilled.
Separate the grapes from stem. Rinse in water twice and reserve.
Method:
In a mixerjar add grapes and sugar first, grind to form a smooth puree.
Add milk and blend once more till well combined.
Pour the milkshake in a tall tumbler and serve...Enjoy!

Sitaphal Milk Shake / Custard Apple Milk Shake Recipe

No extra sugar added sitaphal milk shake. This milk shake is creamy and tasty and no extra sugars added, which is very healthy.

Sitaphal Milk Shake Recipe Ingredients:
1 Cup Custard Apple Pulp
1 Cup Milk

Prep:
Boil the milk allow to reach room temp place it in the freezer to form crystals.
Wash the custard apple place it to air dry. Place a sieve on a mixing bowl. Scoop the custard apple and add it to the sieve. Using back of a spoon press the custard apple and strain the pulp.
Extract the pulp and place it in the fridge covered until use.

Method:
In a mixer jar break and add the milk grind on one speed for a minute.
Add the custard apple pulp and grind to form smooth milk shake.
Transfer the milkshake to a tall tumbler and serve...Enjoy!

Banana Milk Shake Recipe

I always use leftover custard to prepare banana milk. Wanted to share my idea and tip to use leftovers. I always prepare custard with corn flour we can also use egg custard in this recipe. Custard is a great alternate or substitute to use in place of icecream for thick shakes.
Prepare this Eggless custard recipe ahead of time to prepare this milk shake.

Ingredients:
500 ML Custard 
2 Ripe Banana
1/4 Cup Milk if required 
2 Tbsp Sugar if required 

Custard Recipe:
4 Tbsp Corn Starch/Flour
6 Tbsp Sugar
500 ML Milk
1 Tbsp Butter
1/4 Tsp Yellow Food Color
1/4 Tsp Vanilla
Method to Prepare Custard:
Place a heavy bottom pot on low flame add the milk and simmer till it comes to a boil.

Add corn flour to 3 tbsp of milk stir and reserve.

Once the milk boils add the sugar or condensed milk stir and bring to a rapid boil.

Reduce the flame using a balloon whisk keep whisking the milk and slowly add the corn mixture.

Keep stirring till the milk reduces a bit and starts to thicken a bit.

Add vanilla and a pinch of yellow color once the milk has reduced remove from flame. Add butter and stir well.

Allow the custard to cool cover and refrigerate the custard to set.


Method to Prepare Banana Milk Shake:
In a mixer jar peel and add 3 bananas, 1 cup custard and 4 Tbsp sugar if needed...grind to for a smooth milkshake.

We can chill the milk or add ice cubes and pour the milk shake in serving glass...serve with marshmallow stick...Enjoy!

Hot Chocolate Recipe


Warm and satisfying mug of  hot chocolate is a perfect treat for winter 😊 I always stock up and freeze cooking chocolate and cocoa powder for hot chocolate both the ingredients freeze and store well until use.

Hot Chocolate Ingredients:
1/2 Liter Milk
100 Grams Dark Cooking Chocolate
2 Tbsp Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
4  Tbsp Sugar
Chocolate Wafer For Garnish...


Method:
Heat a heavy bottom sauce pan or pot to boil milk on medium to low flame.

Add the milk, coco powder, cooking chocolate, and sugar. 

Using a balloon whisk whisk and combine all the ingredients. Keep stirring and whisking do not allow the cooking chocolate to settle in the bottom of the pot and burn.

In 5 to 10 minutes on low flame the milk with thicken and your hot chocolate will be ready to serve. 

Pour the hot chocolate in a serving mug and serve with a side of wafer and enjoy 😊

Bengaluru Style Mango Milkshake Recipe

I prefer using mallika mangoes in milk shakes and recipes since these mangoes are packed with flavors and it’s locally grown. There is a difference from locally harvested mangoes vs early harvested and shipped ones. 
 Mallika mangoes are harvested end of April and avaiable in local mango melas, supermarket and stores from June till end of July.

Ingredients:
1 Liter Milk + 1 Cup Milk
100 Grams Pack Fresh Cream
3 to 4 Mallika Mangoes
3 to 6 Tbsp Sugar
1 Liter Mango Ice cream
Cherries for garnish 

Please adjust the sugar content as per the sweetness in mango. At times few mangoes will taste bland we need to increase or reduce the sugar level as per choice.


Prep:
Boil 1 liter milk, reduce a bit on low flame. 

Remove milk from flame allow to reach room temperature, place the milk pot in the freezer allow to form solid milk ice cubes.

We can break these milk ice cubes into small pieces using a knife just before preparing milk shake.

Wash and pat dry the mangoes. using a potato peeler, peel the mango skin.

Chop the mangoes in larger chunks for milk shake and use two slices of mango to chop in smaller pieces for garnish.
Method:
In a juicer jar add the larger chunks of mango. Add sugar and icecream blend to form a smooth puree.

Break the frozen milk into smaller, blendable cubes and add to the mango puree.

Grind till the milk is well incorporated with the mango.

Pour the mango in serving glasses leaving a little gab for a scoop of mango icecream and mango.

Garnish the milk shake with a scoop of mango icecream and top with mango pieces, just before serving top with fresh cream and cherry. Serve right away...Enjoy😉

Sharjah Shake Recipe (Banana Chocolate Milk Shake)


Sharjah Shake prepared with natural ingredients, perfect energy drink served during summer. This is a thick milk shake, a complete meal on its own.

Ingredients:
3 Ripe Banana (Robusta or Kerala Butter Banana)
3 Cups Milk
1/2 Liter Vanilla or Chocolate Icecream 
3 Tbsp Diet or Regular Sugar
5 Tbsp Horlicks (We can also use Boost, Bournvita, or Milo)
6 Tbsp Hot Chocolate Powder
1 Tbsp Khus Khus/Gasagasa/White Poppy Seeds
15 Cashews 
4 to 5 Tbsp Roasted Salted Peanuts
Garnish: Candied Cherry, Salted peanuts, Vanilla Icecream, Chopped Almonds and Cashews


Method:
1. In a mixer-jar add poppy seeds, hotchocolate powder, roasted peanuts, cashews, sugar and horlicks grind to form smooth powder

2. Add peeled and chopped banana to the ground powder blend to form a smooth paste. Do not add water or milk for grinding.

3. Add vanilla icecream to the ground banana blend to form a smooth paste.

4. Add milk to the ground banana mixture whisk till all ingredients are well combined.


5. Divide and transfer the milk to tupperware containers freeze till the milk forms crystals.

6. Once the milk sets breaks and mix the milk add to a mixer jar grind to form smooth milk shake.

7. Serve the milk shake in a serving glass top with two scoops icecream. Garnish with salted peanuts and cherry serve right away...Enjoy :)

FERRERO ROCHER LATTE

Ingredients:
3 Ferrero Rochers 
2 Tbsp Coco Powder
1/2 Tsp Instant Coffee Powder
2 Scoops of Ice cream + for garnish
1 Tbsp Sugar
3 Cups Milk

Prep Up:
Place the milk in a bowl and freeze until it forms crystals.


Method:
  • In a juicer mixer jar add the ferrero rocher coco powder sugar coffer powder and grind until powder format.
  • Add milk and ice cream whip until all ingredients are well combined pour into tall tumblers garnish with scoops of ice cream and ferrero rocher serve right away....Enjoy...:)
