Book Your Table With Dineout Plus


Dineout, India's largest table reservation platform, has announced a new service called Dineout Plus.

The service will feature only those restaurants which are located in the 4-star & 5-star hotels. Once a user signs up on the app, he/she will receive a personalized membership card which they can show at the restaurants to avail exclusive offers.

Hotel chains such as Le Meridian, The Lalit, The Lodhi Hotel, Taj Vivanta in Delhi, and Hilton Bangalore Embassy GolfLinks, Hyatt, Marriott Hotel, Zuri in Bengaluru are some of the restaurants that have signed up for the programme, apart from listing their restaurants on the platform for table reservations.

The Dineout Plus programme is available exclusively on the Dineout App. The app is available for iPhone and Android users. Dineout, members can book tables at over 150 five-star restaurants across Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Kolkata, and avail a Flat 25% discount on their total bill.


I was invited to be a part of bloggers table at HYATT Bengaluru and experience dineout service. The exquisite meal featured dishes from Italy. 

I Loved the pool side dinning. We enjoyed the alacarte menu for aperitivo we had crostini followed by antipasti: souffle panchetta and calamari then the zuppa a bread bowl soup filled with mixed beans veggies and tomato soup...

For the mains, I had the prawns ravioli, and linguine completed out meal with blueberry cake and chocolate salami. This was my 5th visit to LIDO HYATT enjoyed the food and company.

New Menu BAJA BEACH BREAK @Habanero, Bengaluru

 I was hosted by Habanero for their new pop up menu called Baja Beach. Mexico's Baja Peninsula is a popular beach destination for tourists, and is known to be one of the best beaches in the world. Sun worshipers, surfers and paddlers flock to this beach for the water, sun and sand, and the beach resorts are also famous for serving sumptuous coastal Mexican dishes dominated by seafood items and lime flavors. 

This year, Habanero gives us a tour of Mexico by showcasing a special menu every month from various Mexican regions. They begin the tour this month with the "Baja Beach Break" special menu, containing delicious Mexican fish, shrimp and chicken dishes and tropical cocktails. They also have vegetarian options. 

Our tasting session started with a very traditional snack tortilla chips with an assortment of salsas and pinacolada...followed by seer fish ceviche and lime lacquered chicken skewers the starters were not to filling yet very tasty packed with flavors.

For mains we had garlic shrimp soft tacos with beans and rice on side, and big salad with grilled pineapple, mojito vinaigrette served with grilled chicken, fish or eggplant. I loved the salad grilled pineapple and chicken was perfect portion size was awesome.

For dessert we had coconut flan with chocolate truffle I somehow did not get coconut flavor it was good smooth and tasty custard. over all the food was good pricing for the amount of food was amazing...Overall  I enjoyed the tasting session.

KFC CHIZZA "NO CRUST ALL CHICKEN"


What is KFC CHIZZA No Crust All Chicken? Chizza is all new KFC Product marinated succulent chicken tenders are breaded and deep fried and then topped with cheese and pizza toppings and broiled till cheese has melted  whole some chicken pieces are not only filling tastes really good  this is a yummy concept young and old will surely enjoy.  

Here is my story at KFC...My Dad was feeling little under the weather, and was snuggling in all day by evening he was really restless and feeling bored and I had this KFC gift card the PR sent me. Around 7 pm I asked my dad if he was interested to try some chicken with out any complains he got dressed and we headed to nearest KFC. 

We thought since its close to closing time there wont be any crowd which was wrong assumption the place was packed and adding to the rush hour there was technical issues with the generator and exactly when my turn came to order the chizza the power was off. 

The staff managed the situation really well and gave my order we also had some peri peri chicken the power supply was very tricky it was on and off the crowd mounted fast forming a huge line. we some how got the order and managed to take a table in dark and enjoyed the snack in candle light this was truly amazing experience for me and dad at KFC.

 We liked the chizza so much and had to go in for second order by this time the power was restored and my order went through and the power got cut exactly when they wanted to withdraw my gift card the process of waiting started and I got my second order as well the power supply was still not restored. 

With all the Chaos around Dad enjoyed the chizza everything was sorted and I went to pay my bill after waiting for almost an hour the manager came upto me and said Mam you were patiently waiting and I've spoken to my higher-ups this meal is completely on us please do visit us again and so sorry for the inconvenience...It was a surprise for me and dad we appreciate KFC for this gesture and will go back for more... 

KFC Krushers  is new addition they have many flavors we chose mango flavor in regular serving and loved the creamy milk shake it was quite filling and very tasty.

It's always a pleasure to see parents taste and enjoy new stuff as they don't get to go out often. Dad is hooked to KFC now he says the pricing is affordable and wants to try some more stuff here.

Papa John's Valentine Heart Shaped Pizza


Bengalurueans were in for a treat World Famous Papa John's offered Heart Shape Pizza + Pepsi + Surprise Gift on Valentines Day these special pizzas are  available until 16/2/2016. I took my papa along to taste the soft and crunchy pizza. Papa John's are know for best quality pizza. We got to taste both the valentines special pizzas veg margarita and the chicken pepperoni.

Margarita Pizza the soft yet crunchy base was smeared with yummy pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, topped with chunky tomato and onion the pickle jalapeno adds to the flavor and taste.


Chicken Pepperoni Pizza Crunchy pizza base was smeared with chunky sauce, mozzarella cheese and chicken salami then baked to perfection.


Over all we thoroughly enjoyed both the pizzas. The heart shape pizza looks very special and custom made. Excellent gift idea if your planning to gift a pizza for a special someone in your life.

Baked Honey Mustard Chicken Recipe


Honey mustard chicken can be served as a starter or as a side dish for pasta or fried rice. This recipe is my own creation after many attempts I got it to the consistency we liked at home or I can say as per Indian taste palette. We can cook the chicken on a tawa/skillet or bake it. If cooked using a tawa the chicken tastes different from the baked version.

Ingredients:
750 Grams Chicken Thighs 
1 Tbsp Mustard
10 Kandhari chilies or fresh birds eye chilies 
1/2 Tsp Garam Masala
1/2 Tsp Turmeric 
Juice of 1 Lime
1 Tbsp Ginger and Garlic Paste
1 Small Onion
3 to 4 Tbsp Honey
Sesame and Chilly Flakes for garnish
Salt as per taste 
Butter as required

Method:
  1. Using a sharp knife gash or cut the chicken thighs. Wash thoroughly and place the chicken in a colander allow the excess moisture to drain before adding to a mixing bowl.
  2. In a mixer jar add the mustard, onion, chilly, turmeric, and garam masala add splash of water grind to form a smooth paste. 
  3. Transfer the chicken to a mixing bowl add the yogurt, lime, mustard masala paste and salt mix all the ingredients thoroughly allow the chicken to marinate for minimum half hour for best results allow the chicken to marinate over night in the fridge.
  4. Line a baking sheet with foil mix the chicken once more in the marinate and start arranging the chicken on the sheet bake in a preheated oven at 250 degree for 13 minutes on each side until the chicken is well done.
  5. Bast the chicken with butter and honey on all side and bake at 250 for 3 minutes on each side once done garnish with sesame and chilly flakes and serve hot...Enjoy...:)
