3Monkeys Brew Pub Review

I'm after craft/artisan foods being a food blogger I enjoy visiting such places. microbrewery started in 70s UK still boasts of having limited edition beers in their country as a bangalorean i never get to savor limited edition beers this was a treat to be in the moment setting up a brewery on 4th floor of a mall is a challenge hey we Indians are all out and can challenge all odds.

3 monkeys is a place to visit if your a beer lover like me. traditional artisan beers are slowly making their way to Bangalore at 3 monkeys i got to savor top 3 best beer shots its always good to sample few before ordering your pint. the place is well maintained for a brewery cleanliness is very important its always a challenge to maintain the place clean when food service follows. i will give 10/10 for cleanliness.

Pale lager

The decor lighting seating etc is well designed hip and modern social events, family together and date night out can be planned a head of time give a call to reserve your table a head of time ask them suggestions for food and drinks they will be happy to guide you always pair you food and drinks this way its enjoyable and moments can be treasured for you to visit again.

 Wheat Beer

The DJs rock the floor with desi/hiphop numbers youngster rocked the floor its best to workout a bit before sitting down for an amazing spread what do you reckon? my mind was set on beer i was walking around the bar fascinated with the machinery/equipment after walking few rounds around Asia's largest bar counter I felt dizzy and hungry jokes apart its time for food and beer...

Red Ale

Finally after dancing and all my research work we sat down i was hungry and thirsty i ordered the wheat beer truly a thirst quencher Aaaaaaaaah after a nice gulp we were given menu cards we started ordering for food...

Some how beer pairs well with Indian food every foodie will agree with me on this terms the thought process behind the menu was excellent as i am tired of eating gourmet stuff all the time 3 monkeys never let us down or dampen our spirits they serve good soul food we were in a group for starters we ordered beer battered onion rings chicken fingers chilly paneer and chicken tikka everything devoured in minutes with few shots of beer.

 Peas Pakora
 Chicken Tikka
 Beer Batter Onion Rings
Paneer Chilly
 My Plate

For the main course we ordered Biryani, rogan gosht , murgh salana and naan I paired my meal with pale lager it was truly amazing. who needs dessert when your in a brewery I ordered for RED ALE now this is dessert it has sweetness from the caramel fruity notes this beer was awesome it can also be paired with chicken/tandoori recipes or for spicy recipes.

Plan your night out I recommend 3 monkeys desi food music artisan beers in hip settings truly enjoyable moments...:)

MUSTARD & CRESS @ 153 BIERE STREET REVIEW

Me and few food bloggers were at Mustard & Cress which is located inside 153 Biere street  they have both indoor and alfresco dining with live grill they serve European, Mediterranean and fusion cuisine.
I just couldn't resist clicking the live pizza counter...the place was packed with tourists both young and old. people came in large groups to mix and mingle it was fun talking to few foreign nationals...
We were seated inside a private dining area which had dramatic lighting the ambiance was cooped up for my taste i would have preferred the alfresco dinning it was lively and fun.
The table setting was shabby chic tufted comfy chairs mustard plants and salsa inside the mortar and pestle were placed as center piece it was dramatic modern and fun elements to decorate as center piece...
I'm waiting to be served loads of epic conversation jokes and fun moments while we waited patiently
For starters we were served grilled saffron chicken with arugula and mint salad along with coriander pesto grilled chicken with veggies... two different chicken recipes saffron and pesto chicken were awesome smokey flavors creamy taste along with the salad and grilled veggies it was on top of the world tasted absolutely yumm along with white wine...

Finally we started off with main course...madras curry flavored risotto and pumpkin risotto were yum i could taste the freshly toasted curry powder  curry leaves ghee and fresh coriander in madras curry risotto the pumpkin risotto was totally different i could taste the grilled and pureed pumpkin along with herbs reduced along with rice made the rice flavorful creamy and yummm...
staring our plates was the beetroot and wine reduction lamb curry along with steamed basmati rice i totally did not expect the lamb curry to taste so good it was spicy not creamy sharp flavors and spicy taste. lamb cooked to perfection...melt in your mouth moment...
followed by mushroom pepper fry, paneer makhani and garlic bread...never expected the paneer makhani to pair with garlic bread it tasted yum would prefer the same combo in future too rice and mushroom pepper fry were like match made in heaven and yes not to forget the lovely lamb curry over all slightly unexpected yet wonderful mixtures of  flavors and taste....
Finally Dessert Time lemony cheese cake topped with whipped cream plum and mint reduction served along with apple crumble and chocolate tuile  crunchy apple crumble was tart and yum there was good amount of lemon zest and juice in the cheese cake the plum sauce along with cheese cake tasted quite good...

At the biere club they own their brewery its not functional at the moment due to government limitations they hope to have a full function brew in the next 6 months as soon as they receive a node from the govt.
Being a wine lover I chose the sangria which tasted lemony and yum it had finely carved pieces of water melon ball, pine apple, mint and lemon...
I totally recommend and suggest you to try sangria at Biere....
I ordered for a non alcoholic beverage virgin mojito which was filled with ice sprite lemon juice and mint it was perfect and refreshing on a very humid summer night...

what an amazing way to present fish and chips as they say best things come in small packages basa fish fried in beer batter and served along with finger/french fries and tarter sauce the fish was cooked to perfection melting moments again crispy chip and creamy sour dip made my mouth tingle for more....
Round two of potato wedges and crispy finger chips it was garlicky sprinkled with cayenne pepper served along with thousand island sauce it was a bucket filled with yummy surprises...prefect combo for mojito...
Prawn and lobster popcorn this was my first attempt trying a prawn and lobster popcorn it was crunchy crispy not to oily well balanced spice absolutely amazing with a chilled beer...
Finally we started on our main courses amazingly spiced Moroccan grilled chicken and veggies served with a lemon wedges and pita breads char bits of sumac and zataar made us salivate for more...
