Recently opened Falafels located at transit food court-Forum Mall hosted me for an exclusive food tasting session. Falafels falls in the healthy fast food chain category. A trend slowly catching up across Bengaluru. At Falafels they are serving a variety of nutritious and protein rich dishes. The extensive menu features wide range of Mediterranean dishes with a mix of few local flavors. One can snack on hummus with grilled pita breads or grilled chicken shawarma with Khawa tea. To cater as per the taste buds of locals the head chef has curated many dishes with local flavors, like coconut based malabar chicken pide which was our favorite. At Falafels food is pocket friendly, filling, convenient, healthy and delicious.

Next came some refreshing lemonades along with malabar chicken pide, tostadas and a exotic veg pide pizza. Pita pockets come in multi-grain white bread and whole wheat you can pick and choose as per preference. I was served whole wheat pita which was fluffy filled with crispy falafels, hummus, chipotle sauce and veggies. These pita pockets are perfect to snack on after a stroll around the mall...
